Vasuda Salon is happy to announce a new apprentice hairstylist to our team Fana Amanuel. She will Be working with Emmett and our senior stylists at our North Seattle and South Sound Locations starting September 1st, 2021.

Fana is a talented artist with a creative soul, an eye for design, and pays attention to details. Fana was born and raised here in Seattle and has always had a passion for doing hair. Fana explains, “When I was in 5th grade, our teacher had us create a time capsule, and in that time capsule, I wrote that I wanted to be a hairstylist when I grew up.”
Fana’s journey into the world of beauty began at an early age. As young as 11 years old, Fana would do braided styles on family and fell in love with hairstyling ever since. Braiding and natural hair styling grew into a passion, and she learned all types of braiding designs from Single, Box Braids, Twist, Design Braids, and more
With an entrepreneurial spirit, Fana decided to showcase her work on Instagram in 2019. As a result, her braiding business grew exponentially, and Fana began getting appointment requests from around the city. Fana is joining Vasuda Salon’s team as an Apprentice Hair Designer. She will expand her skills in the Science of Hair, Haircutting, Hair Color, Balayage, and Chemical Services like Relaxers, Texturizer, and Keratin.
