Emmett is Back at Vasuda Salon Seattle in September 2025
It feels incredible to connect with you again and share some truly exciting news! Many of you know my journey, and after some amazing growth and evolution, I'm thrilled to announce my primary return to our beloved Vasuda Salon North Seattle!
This location, at 12317 15th Ave NE, is truly the OG, the "big sister" of all our salons.
Our roots started in Minneapolis back in 2003, but North Seattle, which opened in Fall 2010, became our template and a central community hub. It's been an incredible spot – easy freeway access, free parking, and a diverse clientele from all over Seattle and beyond, trusting us with every curl and hair texture imaginable. We’ve been so fortunate to nurture fresh talent here, watching stylists flourish, many even opening their own successful salons and expanding the vision of beautiful, diverse hair with incredible customer service.
Seattle Location's Past Business Model
You might remember a time when we explored mixing independent contractors and employee stylists here. We learned a lot! For various reasons, this led to our employee stylists and I moving to a different location to continue our team-based approach.
Return to Our Roots
Now, as Vasuda Salon proudly turns 16, many of those wonderful stylists are branching out in exciting new directions. This has created a perfect moment for me to come home to North Seattle. Throughout August, we’ll be making some fantastic improvements and reorganizing the space. My mission remains to uphold our team-based salon model, with a strong focus on education, training, and delivering the highest level of customer service you've come to expect.
When Will It Start? When is the First Appointment?
I'll be taking services at our North Seattle location starting September 1st, 2025, and will primarily be working there. I'll still be at our current location just one to two times a week. Plus, I'm excited to share that Ariana will be partnering with Vasuda here as well!
